Our Providers

We are a small and fun team to work with. You will find that each one of us brings something special and unique to our clinic. Within one week of your first encounter, whether your child is in the hospital or in the clinic, a specialized doctor and nurse will be assigned as your primary providers. They will be responsible for:

  • Directing the plan of treatment
  • Explaining test results
  • Answering your questions
  • If needed, coordinating care with other specialists (surgeon, radiologist, etc.)
  • Discussing different aspects of your care with the whole team and keeping them updated on your child’s progress

During the course of your child’s treatment, you will have the opportunity to work with all our providers. We believe it is important that the whole team gets to know you and your child. This ensures that there will always be someone who knows your child and his/her plan of care. Our team is committed to delivering the best care possible in a professional, consistent and caring manner. Please let us know if you feel there is an area in which we can do better.

We serve all families affected by childhood cancer who are living, treated or diagnosed in the state of Iowa, regardless of treatment outcome.
